Create an everlasting ceramic cake using ceramic cream, clay decorations, and cake-decorating techniques.

In this playful, beginner-friendly workshop, our instructor will demonstrate how to pipe and decorate with ceramic cream. Students will use different piping tips to create frosting textures, cream details, flowers, borders, and decorative designs on their ceramic cake piece.

We provide a variety of piping tips and more than 20 ceramic cream color options for students to choose from.

Workshop Includes:

• 2-hour studio experience

• 12 oz of white ceramic cream

• 6 oz total of colored ceramic cream, choose up to 3 colors

• 4 oz of white clay

• Use of various piping tips

• Instructor demonstration for piping and decorating techniques

• Firing included for one piece under 7.5 inches

• Clear glaze included

• Studio assistance as needed

Additional Materials:

• Extra ceramic cream can be purchased separately in studio.

• Additional colored clay can be purchased separately.

• Color powders are available for extra color customization.

• Extra materials or oversized work may require an additional fee.

Coloring Options:
This workshop uses colored ceramic cream and clay decorations. If you would like to add more painted details on top of the colored clay and ceramic cream, you may book a second coloring session for $25 once your piece is ready for the next step.

Good to Know:
Ceramic pieces cannot be taken home the same day. Your ceramic cake will need to dry, be fired in the kiln, and be finished with clear glaze. We will notify you when it is ready for pickup. The full firing and finishing process usually takes 3–4 weeks.

Ceramic cream piping is a delicate clay process. Because the final result depends on clay consistency, piping technique, thickness, drying, and kiln firing, small cracks, texture changes, or natural imperfections may occur. We will handle and fire each piece with care, but we cannot guarantee that every piped detail will remain completely crack-free.

Beginner-friendly and no experience needed. This is a fun creative workshop for anyone who loves cute ceramics, dessert-inspired art, handmade gifts, or playful home decor.
